Himachal Tunnel Collapse: 2 Labourers rescued, 1 Missing

Nine days after being trapped in an under-construction tunnel near Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, two of the three labourers were rescued by the NDRF team. The rescued workers have been identified as Mani Ram and Satish Tomar. The third worker, who is still missing, has been identified as Hriday Kumar.

The incident occurred when a portion of Tunnel No 4 of Kiratpur-Nerchowk four-lane project near Bilaspur in Himachal Pradesh, had collapsed on September 12. A 45-member NDRF team, have been working in the operation for 4 days. Food and water were supplied to the two workers through a bore.
