India’s 1st Igloo built in Manali at an altitude of over 3,000 mtr

Tourists visiting Manali can now enjoy a stay in an igloo as two local skiers from Manali claimed that they constructed India’s first igloo at an altitude of over 3,000 m close to Hampta Pass in Himachal Pradesh.

Inspired by the concept of staying in snow houses in foreign Countries, they made the  igloo equipped with bedding, table and lights.

The overnight stay is being provided meals, snow dresses and skiing kits. Tashi and Vikas, the two youths expecting the structures to last for one more month.
