L-G Najeeb Jung annuls Swati Maliwal’s Appointment as DCW Chief

The bitter power struggle between the Delhi Government and Lt. Governor Najeeb Jung, escalated further, as the L-G annulled the appointment of Swati Maliwal, wife of AAP leader Naveen Jaihind as the Chairperson of Delhi Commission for Women (DCW). Jung termed her appointment as null and void, saying his advice was not taken by the Delhi Government.
