Lok Sabha adjourned over Remarks on Sonia Gandhi’s Sister

A massive uproar occurred in Lok Sabha during Leader of Opposition Mallikarjun Kharge’s speech in the debate on Lalit Modi-Sushma Swaraj row. As Kharge repeatedly took the name of Rajasthan CM Vasundhrara Raje despite the objections from Speaker, the ruling party MPs confronted him aggressively.

However, there was a pandemonium when BJP MP from Aligarh, Satish Gautam, who said, “Aunty took the Money, Aunty is a Thief” (Mausi Paise Kha Gayi, Mausi Chor Hai).. He was referring to Lalit Modi’s allegations that Varun Gandhi wanted to settle everything with the help of “Aunty” for $60 million.

Sonia Gandhi rushed to the wall along with her MPs and shouted slogans. They demanded an apology from the BJP MP. The House was adjourned till 2:30 PM.
