Congress relents, Lok Sabha begins Debate on Sushma-Lalit Row

As External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj requested the Speaker repeatedly and Government did not object to it, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan has allowed Congress’ Adjournment Motion. The Lok Sabha will hold Debate on Sushma-Lalit row for 150 minutes or 2.5 hours. The debate has begun at 1 PM. The Congress finally climbed down under pressure and allowed the debate.
