Louis Berger Case: Former Goa Minister Churchill Alemao Arrested

Senior Congress leader and former Goa Public Works Department minister Churchill Alemao, has been arrested in connection with the Louis Berger bribery case. He was picked up from his residence in Varca village at around 10:30 PM yesterday. He was recently questioned by Goa Crime Branch along with former Goa CM Digambar Kamat. Alemao came under the scanner after the officials of US-based Louis Berger, had confessed to paying bribe a Goa Minister and other officials to get a Water Augmentation and Sewerage pipeline project under Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).
