Major Gains and Losses for BJP in 2015

After a spectacular 2014 in which they got a massive mandate to rule India and also added Maharashtra, Haryana, Jharkhand and J&K to their kitty, the BJP suffered major reverses in 2015 with the humiliating defeat in Delhi and Bihar. But, if we consider the pan-India situation, BJP has gained in places where it hardly had any presence. It’s a mixed bag for the party in 2015.

9. Wins 2 assembly seats in Manipur.
10. Retains Urban Gujarat.
