OPS gets more support, Trouble mounts for Sasikala

As more and more MPs are now joining the OPS camp, VK Sasikala has been rattled and mulling ways to resolve the crisis. Governor C Vidyasagar Rao is still playing the hide and seek game, putting Chinnamma on back foot. Political parties such as DMK, Congress and BJP have extended their tacit support to OPS.

While Sasikala has paraded the AIADMK MLAs at their “confinement” resort, she hardly dares to release them or present before the Governor in person. She wants to be invited so that she can take oath, put the system in order and then prove majority on the floor of the House. Governor is not biting the bait though.

It would be interesting to see how long the Governor can delay the swearing-in of Sasikala and whether Chinnamma resorts to legal options to get her way. The political battle in Tamil Nadu is getting murkier every passing day!
