OROP Announcement unlikely Tomorrow, Issues Unresolved

Union Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has assured the nation that One Rank One Pension (OROP) will become a reality, but it will take some time to implement it. According to media reports, PM may announce some other schemes tomorrow sans OROP:

* India to be made free from Plastic Bags
* Nationwide Women’s Safety Helpline Number
* Medical Assurance Scheme
* Smart Village Project.
