Peter Mukerjea sent to judicial custody

Mumbai, Dec 1: Former media baron Peter Mukerjea, one of the prime accused in the Sheena Bora murder case, was sent to judicial custody till December 14 by a special court on Tuesday.

Mukerjea has been in the custody of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) since the agency arrested him on November 19 from Mumbai.

The prosecution lawyer said that as of now they did not require Mukerjea further in CBI custody and sought judicial custody for him.  (IANS)
