Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a great decision by declaring 26 November as the Constitution Day. The Indian Constitution was adopted on 26 November, 1949, while it came into force on 26 January, 1950.
It took India 65 years to understand the importance of 26 November and Modi was destined to get credit for this historic decision.
“Babasaheb Ambedkar is an inspiration not just for one community, but for the entire world. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar faced so many challenges, but there was no bitterness in him. He is a Maha Purush,” said PM Modi.
“26th November will be marked as Constitution Day. People must know about our constitution, how it was made,” he added.
