PM Modi expresses deep anguish and pain over Gujarat Violence

In his Mann Ki Baat address this morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his deep anguish and pain over the recent violent incidents in Gujarat over the reservation demand for Patel Patidars.

“The entire nation is shocked at the recent wave of violence in Gujarat. Nation is first to get hurt when something happens in the land of Gandhi and Sardar Patel,” he said.

“However, the intelligent people of Gujarat have controlled the situation very quickly. Gujarat is back on the road of peace,” he expressed relief and urged the people to work towards peace and development.
