After breaking his silence on the issue of cow vigilantes and attack on Dalits at the MyGov Townhall on Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi yet again hit out at the fake ‘Gau Rakshaks’ and extended full support to Dalits in the country.
At the rallyPM Modi hits out at Cow Vigilantes, bats for Dalits in India in Telangana, Narendra Modi sounded angry and upset when he said, “these fake ‘gau rakshaks’ (cow protectors) need to exposed, isolated and punished”. Earlier at the Townhall, Modi had warned such people, calling them anti-social elements who become Cow Protectors in day and criminal in night.
The PM had also revealed 80% Cow Vigilantes are fake and asked the State Governments to identify and punish such people.
In Hyderabad, Modi got emotional and dared the Cow Vigilantes, “If you want to attack, attack me and not Dalits. If you want to shoot, shoot me and not Dalits”.
“Shanti, Ekta, Sadbhavana are central to the progress of the nation. We have to protect the marginalised & Dalits, It is our duty,” he added.
