PM Modi meets Chinese President XI Xinping, raises Lakhvi Issue

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Chinese President XI Xinping on the sidelines of BRICS Summit at Ufa in Russia and discussed various issues including border disputes, 26/11 and Lakhvi and China’s stand vid-a-vis Pakistan at the UN. At the 85-minute long discussion, PM Modi also raised the issue of Chinese investment in PoK.

The Chinese side was surprised and impressed the way PM conveyed India’s concerns with clarity and conviction.
