Prime Minister Narendra finally broke his silence and made a statement on Dadri lynching, saying the nation must ignore irresponsible politicians, who spread communal hatred through their poisonous remarks for political gains.
“Nation should stay united. Ignore all those who are trying to fuel the fire. Communities need to work together and ensure India stays as one,” said PM Modi at a rally in Nawada, Bihar.
“Only communal harmony and brotherhood will take the nation forward. Hindus and Muslims should work together to fight poverty, not among themselves,” he added.
PM Modi invoked President Pranab Mukherjee’s message, saying “President’s message is the best guidance we can get as a nation. It will help us maintain tolerance and plurality of Indian civilization”.
