PM Modi woos Jammu & Kashmir with Rs 80,000 Cr Package

At a massive rally in Srinagar today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi left no stones unturned to woo the youth of Jammu & Kashmir with his powerful speech and announced a massive package of Rs 80,000 crore. He talked about development and only development.

Here are the excerpts from his speech:

* Rs 80,000 crore package we will give to Jammu and Kashmir. This is just a beginning.
* Rs 34,000 crore Highways project announced.
* Jamhooriat, Insaniyat, Kashmiriyat – are the Mantras given by former PM AB Vajpayee and we will follow it.
* Kashmir has suffered a lot over the years, generations have seen their dreams being crushed. Now, we need growth and development here.
* I have seen in my life no matter how big the challenges are, they can be overcome.
* I want to bring back those days when rest of India used to look forward to come and visit Kashmir.
* My privilege to visit J&K so often, this land draws me here.
* My mother used to give me Rs 5 or Rs 11 on my birthday, but last year she gave me Rs 5000 for the flood-affected people of Kashmir.
* Our Mantra is ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikaas’, and that is why I want every corner of the country to be with us.
* Solution to every problem of ours is in providing employment to the youth
* Sachin,Sehwag or Dhoni, whoever hit a six, they did it with the willow from Kashmir. The bat was made in this land.
* A state which has given us Parvez Rasool should it not hold a international cricket match.Why not?
* Some people said India would never catch up with China. But today, they say India is not only catching up but leading China.
