Pro-Pakistan Protesters disrupt J&K Half-Marathon in Srinagar

J&K-MarathonPro-Pakistan slogans were raised at the first-ever International Half-Marathon in Srinagar. Foreign participants were beaten up and some girls were molested. The hooligans vandalised the properties. The event had to be called off abruptly.

At least 40-50 morons were involved in the incident. They raised Pakistan flags, shouted anti-India slogans and hailed Pakistan. The police had to resort to lathicharge and fired teargas shells to disperse them. Some of them were reportedly arrested.

The 21-km Kashmir marathon was to begin from Naseem Bagh at Kashmir University and go along the scenic Dal Lake.
