Sevayat Families defy HC order to witness Naba Jaubana?

In a shocking development this morning, the women members of Sevayat families defied the Orissa High Court order and witnessed the ‘Naba Jaubana’ of the deities of Puri Temple, as reported by Kanak TV. They witnessed it at the ‘Jaya Vijay’ dwar of the temple. Earlier yesterday, the High Court had refused permission to the officers and family members of Sevayats to see ‘Naba Jauban’ and ruled that only Sevayats engaged in rituals can do this. The SJTA is yet to respond to the Kanak TV report.
