Speaker rejects Congress’ Adjournment Motion, Lok Sabha Stalled

The Lok Sabha witnessed a stormy beginning in the Monsoon Session today, as Speaker Sumitra Mahajan rejected the ‘adjournment motion’ moved by the Congress and many other parties. The House was adjourned after the Opposition created a ruckus and stalled the proceedings. The Congress MPs wore ‘black bands’. The Rajya Sabha was also adjourned over the Sushma Swaraj issue.
