Steve Jobs had visited Kainchi Dham Ashram to get Apple Inspiration

HimvanRecently at Facebook TownHall Q&A with PM Modi, Facebook CEO Marrk Zuckerberg revealed that when his company was going through a lean patch, Apple Co-Founder Steve Jobs had advised him to visit a temple in India.

Jobs had visited Kainchi Dham Ashram, 38km away from Nainital in the 1970s to get inspiration to create Apple, the biggest brand in Tech and Gadgets. Kainchi Dham is the Ashram of Baba Neem Karoli or Baba Neeb Karori, who is considered as a reincarnation of Lord Hanuman. Hollywood actress Julia Roberts was also influenced by the Ashram.

Baba Neem Karoli died on September 11, 1973. Steve Jobs, along with his friend Dan Kottke, traveled to India in 1973 to meet Neem Karoli Baba, but arrived after the guru died in September of that year.
