Sushma Swaraj leaves for Malta to attend CHOGM

New Delhi, Nov 26: Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj on Thursday left for Malta to attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) to be held from November 27 to 29.

“Adding Global Value, with the Commonwealth! EAM @SushmaSwaraj departs for the CHOGM Summit in Malta,” external affairs ministry spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted along with a picture of the minister sitting in an aircraft.

This is the second time that Malta is hosting the CHOGM summit. The Mediterranean island nation had also hosted this event in 2005. (IANS)
