22-year-old Sajjad Ahmed, who was captured by the Army Commandos yesterday during Rafiabad encounter in Jammu & Kashmir, had come to India to unleash terror using his AK-47. But, he was completely overdone by the ‘Chilly Grenades’ and teargas shells.
The Army killed four other terrorists, but captured Sajjad alive when he begged for mercy. Sajjad is a resident of Muzzafargarh in Pakistan’s Punjab province. Sajjad is part of the LeT group. The NIA team has reached Srinagar this morning to question him.
Sajjad was the second terrorist in less than a month to be captured alive. Earlier, another Pakistani terrorist Usman alias Naved was caught alive in Udhampur during a fierce encounter.
