Tributes paid to Martyrs on 26/11 Mumbai Attack

Mumbai Terror AttacksThe 2008 Mumbai attacks took place in November 2008, when 10 members of Lashkar-e-Taiba, an Islamic militant organisation based in Pakistan attacked at multiple places across Mumbai left 166 people dead and several others injured.

Floral tributes were today paid to those who laid down their lives while fighting with terrorists on this day eight years ago.

Many dignitaries including Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Governor Ch Vidyasagar Rao, Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray paid homage at the 26/11 police memorial site at the Mumbai Police Gymkhana in south Mumbai on Saurday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tributes to martyrs in Hyderabad today. In this connection, more than 2000 students of Mithibai College hold ‘peace march’ in Mumbai.
