Vajpayee’s Memorial ‘Sadaiv Atal’ inaugurated in Delhi

ONI Bureau:  Sadaiv Atal, a memorial of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, was dedicated to the nation on his 94th birth anniversary today.

The memorial has been developed by ‘Atal Smriti Nyas Society’ near Rajghat in New Delhi and was constructed at a cost of Rs 10.51 crore.

President Ram Nath Kovind, Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and family members of Vajpayee were among the dignitaries who paid floral tributes to the late Prime Minister at the memorial built near the Rashtriya Smriti Sthal.

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Tuesday announced that his government will install a statue of the late prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee in Patna soon.
