Asiya-AndrabiWoman separatist leader and Chief of radical women’s outfit Dukhtaran-e-Millat (DeM), Asiya Andrabi has been arrested in Srinagar in connection with waiving Pakistani flags and addressing a meeting convened by Hafiz Saeed-led Jamat-ud Dawa in Pakistan through telephonic conference.

Both the incidents occurred last month during Pakistan’s Independence Day celebrations. Apart from waiving Pakistani flags, she also recited Pakistan’s national anthem. Later, she addressed the meeting in Pakistan over phone and spew venom against India.

She was recently seen slaughtering a cow along with her supporters to protest against the beef ban imposed by J&K High Court. Asiya’s ‘cow slaughter’ video had gone viral on social media.

Following the arrest, Andrabi was sent to Women’s Police Station in Rambagh, Srinagar.
