Yogendra Yadav detained in Delhi, claims he was Beaten Up

In a midnight drama, Yogendra Yadav was detained while leading a farmers’ protest at Jantar Mantar. The cops again forcibly took him away by while he was talking to media at the Parliament Street Police Station.

The police clarified that Yadav was detained for illegal protest and that he was trying to lead the march towards PM’s 7 RCR. The permission granted to Yadav, had expired on August 10, they added.

“I have been beaten up, manhandled, dragged, pushed and arrested at the parliament street police station”, tweets Yadav.

Is it a ploy of the Centre/Delhi Police to generate sympathy wave for Yadav to counter Kejriwal? It can’t be ruled out, as Yogendra Yadav can get sympathy only from the AAP cadres…
