All Petrol pumps in Delhi to remain shut today

ONI Bureau: All petrol pumps along with linked CNG dispensing units in Delhi have started a one-day strike against Delhi government’s refusal to reduce value added tax (VAT) on petrol and diesel in the national capital.

The protest was called by the Delhi Petrol Dealers’ Association (DPDA), after the centre decided to slash VAT in 13 BJP ruling states.

Petrol & diesel prices in Delhi today stood at Rs 81.44 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.30 paise) and Rs 74.92 per litre (decrease by Rs 0.27), respectively.
