Buhalo Live: Jay Panda sends a message to Naveen & Modi

ONI Bureau: Don’t remember how many times in the past we saw LIVE telecast of a Lok Sabha MP inaugurating a Water Tank project in his constituency! But, Kendrapara MP Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda made it possible. And, he wanted to target both BJD and BJP leadership with a strong message.

Although it’s 12th Water Tank from Jay Panda’s MPLAD funds in his constituency, but Buhalo (Cuttack) got more prominence, as the MP wanted to show is strength to supremo Naveen Patnaik as well to BJP leadership, which keeps ignoring his “claims” to join the saffron outfit.

After what happened in Mahanga last year when he faced stiff opposition while inaugurating a project and even subjected to egg attack, Jay Panda wanted to prove a point this time. He planned things meticulously to outwit his opponents, who were silenced earlier. But, his fans created a big hype and sought media attention with a message that there could be clashes and conflict. Even, his channel sent two reporters with two booms to cover the event.

As expected, nothing happened. There was no opposition, no dispute. But, Jay Panda, came, saw, inaugurated the project and left with a victory sign. And, not to forget, he addressed the media (including ANI) in Odia, Hindi and English. Message is loud and clear – for both Naveen and Modi.
