C-Voter Survey gives Rajasthan to Congress; MP & Chhattisgarh to BJP

ONI Bureau: The final ABP News-C-Voter opinion poll has given a clear verdict in Rajasthan saying Congress would return to power by winning 110 out of 200 seats, while BJP would end up with 84 seats. BSP could win 6 seats.

The survey has predicted 45% votes for the Congress, 41% votes for BJP and 14% votes for the BSP in Rajasthan.

However, there is no good news for the Congress in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh if we believe the opinion poll. Despite all efforts of Congress and high anti-incumbency against Shivraj Singh Chouhan Govt, BJP may still hold its fort and retain the state for a record 4th term.

The survey has predicted 111-121 seats for BJP in 230-member Madhya Pradesh Assembly, while Congress is slated to get 100-110 seats. The vote share projections for Madhya Pradesh are 41% for BJP and 40% for BJP. BSP, which may get 19% of votes, has a chance of winning 6-12 seats.

The alliance between BSP and Ajit Jogi’s party in Chhattisgarh has dented the prospects of Congress, as Dr. Raman Singh is predicted to have a smooth sailing in the state. With 43% vote share, BJP may win 56 seats in the 90-member assembly, while Congress may end up with just 25 seats with 36% cote share. Jogi-Mayawati alliance may win 4 seats with 15% votes.
