China opens World’s longest Sea crossing bridge

ONI Bureau:  Chinese President Xi Jinping has officially opened the world’s longest sea crossing bridge ‘Hong Kong-Zhuhai bridge’ on Tuesday.

The $20 billion mega project, with a 55-kilometer (34-mile) road bridge that has been in the works for almost nine years.

The bridge has economic as well as political goals as it connects mainland China with the semi-autonomous territories of Hong Kong and Macau.
