ONI Bureau: Ahead of crucial assembly polls in 3 key states where BJP is fighting anti-incumbency, BJP President Amit Shah has appointed Union P&NG Minister Dharmendra Pradhan as the Madhya Pradesh Incharge.
It can be recalled that Amit Shah has started trusting Dharmendra’s capabilities after he played a key role in BJP’s rise in Bihar. He also proved his mettle in Chhattisgarh and Uttarakhand. BJP has been in power in Madhya Pradesh for the last 15 years, but this time Shivraj Singh Chouhan is facing a tough battle against the Congress.
Apart from Madhya Pradesh, Amit Shah also appointed Prakash Javadekar as Incharge of Rajasthan and JP Nadda as Telangana Incharge. Mukul Roy has been appointed as the Convenor of the Election Committee for West Bengal.
