Faizabad to be renamed as Ayodhya; Airport to be named after Lord Ram

ONI Bureau:  Addressing a huge gathering in Ayodhya ahead of Diwali, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday announced that Faizabad district of UP would be renamed as Sri Ayodhya and an Airport will be built in Ayodhya and it would be named after Lord Ram.

Yogi Adityanath also announced that a new medical college will be made and named after Raja Dashrath.

The temple town of Ayodhya has been all decked up for the biggest Diwali celebrations in the country today.

As many as three lakh earthen lamps, made by local potters decorated as part of the Deepostsav today. First lady of South Korea Kim Jung-sook will grace the event as chief guest.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath and South Korean First Lady Kim-Jung Sook laid the foundation stone of the Korean Memorial Park in Ayodhya which has been built in the memory of Queen Heo.

According to Korean legend, a princess of Ayodhya married King Kim-Suro. Koreans trace their ancestry to this legendary princess, who is known as Queen Heo Hwang-ok in South Korea.
