HD Kumaraswamy takes oath as Chief Minister of Karnataka

ONI Bureau: Janata-Dal-Secular JD(S)’s legislative party leader H.D. Kumaraswamy today sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka at Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.

Meantime, Congress’ Karnataka President G. Parameshwara took oath as Deputy Chief Minister in the Janata Dal-Secular (JD-S)-Congress coalition Government in Karnataka.

Governor Vajubhai Vala administered the oath of office and secrecy amid tight security.

President of Indian National Congress Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu, WB CM Mamata Banerjee and CPI(M)’s Sitaram Yechury, Sharad Pawar, Rajinikanth, Akhilesh Yadav and Mayawati, Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan, former Prime Minister HD Deve Gowda & his wife Chennamma were present at the Oath-taking ceremony.
