Martyrdom in Pulwama should not go in Waste

ONI Bureau: On the last day of 2017, the terrorists backed by Pakistan stormed into the CRPF camp in Pulwama, killing 4 CRPF personnel and injuring two others. One of them (Inspector Radio Operator Kuldeep Roy) died of heart attack.

Other martyrs were identified as Sharifdin Ganie, HC Tufail Ahmed and Captain Rajender Nain.

The Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) claimed responsibility for the attack, which came a few days after Noor Mohammad Tantray, a top militant who was looking to revive the Pakistan-based outfit in the Valley, was killed in an encounter in Pulwama.

Although both militants have been gunned down by the security forces, their handlers remain safe in Pakistan. When will India toughen its stand vis-a-vis Pakistan? Why can’t we withdraw the MFN status to that rogue country? Why are we not severing diplomatic ties yet?

The martyrdom in Pulwama should not go in waste. How long we would keep hearing the ‘strong condemnation’ or ‘kadi ninda’ by our politicians? People of India won’t forget this government if it remains indifferent like its predecessors.
