Revealed: AAP Leader behind Dalit Uprising in Gujarat

Whatever happened against Dalits in Una in the name of cow protection, cannot be condoned under any circumstances. The hooligans involved in the attack, must get exemplary punishment for putting the peace and harmony in Gujarat at risk. But, the political class, instead of cooling down the passion, added fuel to the fire and provoked the weaker class to go on a war path.

The BJP has been ruling in Gujarat for over 18 years. Anandiben Patel may have failed to handle the situation like his predecessor Narendra Modi – be it Patidar movement or Dalit agitation. But, who is fishing in the troubled waters? It’s not the Congress, probably. It’s the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), which wants to give people of Gujarat an alternative. Arvind Kejriwal’s visit to Gujarat and subsequent developments added credence to these speculations.

Now, it has been revealed that Jignesh Mevani (35) is the face of Dalit Agitation in Gujarat. He is a former Journalist, a Serving Lawyer & AAP Spokesperson. As Hardik Patel is inching closer to AAP and now Jignesh is leading the Dalit agitation, it seems the party is working on a long-term strategy to push the Congress to the brink and emerge as a credible Opposition in future. But, their dreams may not be successful at least in 2017.
