SC condemns mob lynching, asks Parliament to make law

ONI Bureau: The Supreme Court on Tuesday condemned mob lynching incidents across the country and asked Parliament to make a law to curb this crime.

Supreme Court said, “no citizen can take law into their own hands. In case of fear and anarchy, the state has to act positively. Violence can’t be allowed.”

The Apex Court fixed the matter of violence by vigilante groups/cow vigilantism for further hearing on August 28.
