Supreme Court decriminalises Homosexuality

ONI Bureau:  In a huge victory for the LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) community in India, the Supreme Court on Thursday decriminalised Section 377 and legalised homosexuality.

Chief Justice of India Dipak Misra said LGBT community has the same fundamental rights as citizens. Respect for each others rights, and others are supreme humanity. Criminalising gay sex is irrational and indefensible.
