1 lakh BJP Supporters to gherao Odisha Assembly in November, says Arun Singh

The BJP State unit of Odisha has planned to gherao the State Assembly with 1 lakh supporters in the month of November against the State government over various irregularities and scams and its carelessness in tackling those issues, said  BJP’s National General Secretary and Odisha in-charge Arun Singh on Friday.

Addressing to media, Singh further stated that the party will focus on the issues like chit fund scam, involvement of BJD MLAs and MPs in chit fund scam, irregularities in ration card distribution, lack of doctors in the state and deteriorating law and order situation in many parts of the state.

BJP would also stage demonstrations in front of all the district headquarters of the state from September 15 to 22, Singh added.

Meanwhile, the saffron party will organise ‘Yaad Karo Kurbani’ program from August 9 to August 30. Several Union Ministers will take part in the program and visit various places across the state, which had played an important role in the freedom struggle.
