10 Cops from Odisha to get Republic Day Police Medals

ONI Bureau:  The Union Home Ministry today announced the list of police officers selected for President’s medal in different categories for 2018.

A total of 795 Police personnel have been awarded Medals on the occasion of the Republic Day this year.

Police Medals for Gallantry (PMG) have been awarded to 107 personnel, President’s Police Medals for Distinguished Service to 75 personnel and Police Medal for Meritorious Service to 613 personnel.

Three constables from Odisha namely Ananta Kadraka, Tedyourampa Sabara and Kumar Huika to receive Police Medal for Gallantry on the occasion of Republic day.

Likewise, seven Police officers from Odisha namely, B. Dugaprasad Rao, SK Anwar,  Sudhansu Mohan Dehury, Satrughana baral, Narendra Pal, V. Nageswar Rao, Sanjay Ku Ray to get Police Medal for Meritorious Service this year.
