In the wake of COVID19, various strategies at the state level have been implemented to combat the inconvenience and difficulties caused due to the lockdown.
In another such effort of Odisha Government to facilitate people during such times, Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) has provided with 100 temporary vending centres in the capital at different places.
BMC has chosen bus stops for the vending centres as the buses are currently not plying owing to the lockdown and the stops will help people locate easily.
The vendors are allowed to sell from morning 7 am-10 am and in the evening from 4 pm-7 pm.
Also, as per reports, BMC has made provision of new 44 temporary markets which will operate from morning 6 am-11 am.
