11 held for Puri Violence over Queue System in Jagannath Temple

ONI Bureau:  At least eleven persons were arrested on Thursday for their alleged involvement in the protest near Jagannath temple over queue system (Dhadi Darshan) in the Pilgrim City on Wednesday.

The police arrested eleven persons after examining the CCTV footage and media footages near the Jagannath temple in Puri.

Earlier, the DGP Dr RP Sharma along with IG (Law and Order) Amitabh Thakur and IG (Central) Soumendra Priyadarshi held meeting with Puri SP Sarthak Sarangi and other senior officers. The officials directed to identify the accused.
