12-hour bandh in Turekela demanding district status to Kantabanji

ONI Bureau:  Members of Zilla Sangha Samiti are observing 12-hour bandh in Turekela on Wednesday demanding district status to Kantabanji in Bolangir district.

While vehicular movement was disrupted due to bandh, educational institutions and shops remained closed in these areas in view of the bandh today.

Earlier, BJD MLA Ayub Khan has also demanded district status for Kantabanji NAC.
