12-hr bandh over demand of Santali University cripples life in Baripada

ONI Bureau:  Normal life came to a grinding halt at Baripada as 12-hour bandh called by Mayurbhanj Adivasi Revolutionary Youth & Student Association (MARYSA) demanding setting up of Santali University in Mayurbhanj.

While shops,  educational establishments and most business establishments remained closed in Baripada, movement of vehicular traffic also remained disrupted in many places. Hundreds of vehicles remained stranded on National Highway-18.
