150 BJP Workers from Rambha NAC join BJD

ONI Bureau: Over 150 BJP workers from Rambha NAC under Chhatrapur Assembly constituency in Ganjam district, have joined the BJD in the presence of Chief Minister and party president Naveen Patnaik.

They included former NAC Chairman Gopal Chandra Tarai, Town BJP President Manoj Tarai, Councilor Kameswar Behera. They were led by NAC Chairperson Soudamini Biswal.

BJD President Naveen Patnaik welcomed them into party fold and said BJD has been working for the poor and common people always. “The news people would strengthen the party further in Rambha NAC and Chhatrapur Assembly Constituency,” he added.

The BJP workers who joined the BJD hailed Naveen Patnaik’s leadership and said they took the decision because of step motherly attitude by the Centre towards Odisha, party’s stand on Mahanadi row as well as the trust reposed on Naveen.
