18 Child Labourers rescued in Rayagada

Insight Bureau:  Child labour continues to proliferate across Odisha’s cities, slums, and villages as again 18 Child labourers rescued from Rayagada Railway Station on Friday night while being they trafficked to Tamil Nadu.

The Government Railway Police (GRP) and Childline officials conducted a joint raids and handed over to their families.

The rescued labourers include 6 minors and all were hailed from Kashipur area. They have been handed over to the Rayagada Childline officials.
