2 arrested in Delhi for carrying over 540 kg cannabis from Odisha

ONI Bureau:  Delhi Police on Wednesday seized 540.75 kg Cannabis worth Rs 1.5 crore and arrested two persons allegedly involved in inter-state narcotics trade.

Marijuana also popularly known as Cannabis-carrying two trucks were reportedly travelling from Berhampur in Odisha and were going to Delhi.

The accused dentified as Akbar Khan (37) from Haryana and Mantu Singh (32) from Bihar were also involved in supplying illicit liquor from Delhi-NCR to Naxalite affected bordering areas of Odisha, Chhatisgarh and Andhra Pradesh and procuring the Cannabis from those areas for sale in Delhi and other states.
