2-Day Joint Naval Exercise ‘Sagar Kavach’ concludes at Paradip Coast today

Two day joint Coastal Security exercise by the Indian Navy, Coast Guards and Odisha Police ‘Sagar Kavach’ concluded in Paradip port today.

Reportedly, the marine department of the port, Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Directorate of Fisheries and Odisha Disaster Rapid Action Force (ODRAF) were part of this joint exercise.

Odisha Government has taken steps to secure its coastal areas following the terrorist attack in Mumbai and other parts of the country.

The exercise contained training regarding entry of intruders through coastal areas and security measures and provides awareness and training to the fishermen.
