2 Odisha boys receive Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2019

ONI Bureau:  The President of India, Ram Nath Kovind conferred “Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2019” to 26 children, 2 individuals and 3 institutions, today at Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi under various fields like Innovation, Social Service, Scholastic, Sports, Art & Culture and Bravery.

Two boys from Odisha received the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2019 from President Kovind at Rashtrapati Bhawan today.

Naisargik Lenka of Odisha was awarded the Bal Shakti Puraskar for his excellence in the field of innovation and Ayushman Tripathy received the award for his excellence in the field of Scholastics.

While, Naisargik received the award for his novel method of treating municipal waste water namely “Waste to wealth” and a smart toilet model namely Swachh APT, Ayushman has represented India in Global Youth Leaders Conference 2018 in USA.
