3 Girl Students thrashed by Headmaster for not sweeping floor, hospitalised

ONI Bureau: Though corporal punishment is banned in Indian schools, many students are still victims of it in several states.

Recently a case of corporal punishment emerged from Mahasingi Nodal Upper Primary School in Baliguda Tehsil of Kandhamal district in Odisha.

As per report, 3 students of Mahasingi UP school allegedly beaten up by headmaster after they refused to sweep classroom. The Injured admitted to Baliguda hospital, Kandhamal.

Irate parents demanded immediate transfer of the accused Headmaster in this regard.
