Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik had told the Assembly today that 3,987 Bangladeshi infiltrators are present in Odisha according to a latest survey. Naveen’s reply came in response to a question put by Rourkela MLA and BJP leader Dilip Kumar Ray.
“We are in touch with the Centre for taking action against those infiltrators”, said the Odisha CM. He revealed that 1,649 infiltrators are staying in Kendrapra district. Another 1,112 Bangladeshi infiltrators are staying in Jagatsinghpur district.
Other districts, which have the Bangladeshi infiltrators, include Malkangiri (655), Bhadrak (313), Balasore(150), Nabarangpur (106) and Baragarh (2).
